Note: Thermostat temperature ratings are the temperature at which the thermostat starts to open. It is not the temperature at which you cooling system will operate, and will not be the temperature you will see if you vehicle has an accurate temperature gauge; many other factors affect engine operating temperature.
• The factory supplied thermostat on most 2LTE & 3L applications is 88C (part number: 90916-03072).
• The thermostat in this listing is 82C, which helps keep these engines cooler as they tend to run a little too hot.
