General Terms & Conditions relating to your order

Please choose a shipping service that includes a tracking number such as Regular Parcel, Expedited Parcel or Xpresspost

• No tracking number = No ability to locate lost or delayed parcels, or confirm delivery
• No tracking number = No insurance for your shipment - base level insurance coverage is only CAD$100

• If you want more insurance coverage, please send an email or note with your order and we can bill you separately for this coverage

** WARNING ** Avoid Low Cost shipping options such as: Small Packet Air and International Ground as these do not have tracking services unless you understand the potential consequences of your choice

We accept orders from all over the world, and ship items worldwide.

If you are serving in the US Military or Canadian Military overseas, please include a note at Checkout with details of your address that do not fit in the standard addressing boxes (such as APO, FPO, DPO information).

Some limitations may apply due to restrictions imposed on us by various carriers that are not within our control. If we are unable to ship an item to your location, we will reverse or cancel the order and notify you.

We ship exclusively using Canada Post which generally offers the most competitive rates and most reliable shipping. We will move to provide more shipping options in the near future.

As the customer, you bear the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all ordered parts will be compatible with your vehicle.  Please contact us if you are uncertain.

*** RADD Cruisers does not accept any responsibility for items lost or damaged by shippers.

*** RADD Cruisers will NOT replace items that are lost in shipping.


Tracking Numbers for Orders in Transit

A tracking number will be sent via email along with your invoice •if you choose a service level that provides tracking•

PayPal requires a service level that uses a tracking number for you to be covered by their Buyer Protection policies. Likewise, as a seller RADD Cruisers is also bound by these polices when PayPal is used.

Typically when a tracking number is provided by the shipper, it will also be available on your shopraddcruisers.ca account page, and if you pay by PayPal, it may be submitted there as well.


Delivery Time

When you place an order with RADD Cruisers, we try to ensure that your order is shipped as quickly as possible.  Most orders are processed within 2 business days from the time that they are received. Some orders may take longer if we are out of town or on vacation (check the shopraddcruisers.ca home page for "out of office" notices).

Special orders require additional processing time, and we will contact you to provide additional information.

The actual shipping time is determined by the level of service you have chosen at checkout. Please see my long-winded shipping policies for a much more detailed answer.


Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated automatically based on product weight and dimensions and are not marked up.

There is no charge for handling and packaging your order at the current time.

We actively re-use and recycle shipping materials to keep our costs as low as possible and reduce our waste stream.

In many cases we must use new or clean shipping materials to comply with shipping regulations, but also to reduce shipping 'problems' when the labeling on the package does not match what is being shipped, or might identify items such that they may be intercepted by less discriminating folk.

If you must have a new box or mailer used for your shipment, or it's a gift, then please provide a note at checkout.


Lost or Damaged order -> you should add Shipping Insurance

At RADD Cruisers' discretion, some items are only shipped with insurance added and are noted as such on the product page **All other items do not have shipping insurance included**.

All other items may have optional shipping insurance added by you at the time of check-out by using the Shipping Insurance Product and selecting the amount of coverage you require OR by contacting us by email or a message at check-out so we can add it for you and bill you at the time of shipment.

If you do not purchase shipping insurance, you are not covered for damage or losses once your item has left our premises.

RADD Cruisers strives to ensure that every customer is satisfied with the quality as described on items purchased.  If you feel that something was not accurately described, let us know so that we can make corrections.

Please read and understand our return policy below prior to placing an order.  

All returns must be authorized in advance.  

Contact us at [email protected] for instructions about how to return your items.

• Returns are only permitted within 14 calendar days of delivery of the order, however exceptions can be made if you ask nicely.

• We do not accept returns of Electrical Items (this is standard practice in the automotive industry).

• We do not accept returns of Special Order items.

• We do not accept returns of parts that have been installed or used in any way.

• We do not accept returns of items that are not in their original condition, that have been damaged, or are missing parts.

• All returned items must be in their original packaging and must include all installation guides and warranty cards so the item can be re-sold as if they are new.

• Refunds on returns will be made after the item(s) arrive back at RADD Cruisers and after inspection by us. This process can take some time, please be patient.


Order errors

In the unlikely event that we ship you an incorrect or defective item, we will, at our discretion, either replace, repair, or refund the cost of the returned item at no cost to you within 14 calendar days of return delivery.  

• Please note that after 14 calendar days of delivery, the item cannot be returned or exchanged.  Please be sure to check the contents of your order upon delivery.

Please note that defective new items in this industry represents an exceptionally small fraction of a percentage point of all items. Most often if there is a problem it is due to an installer error or the incorrect part being ordered.


If you change your mind, or ordered the wrong part

You, our customer is responsible for determining compatibility of parts with their specific vehicle -- if you are uncertain, please contact us prior to placing an order.  Please provide the VIN or Frame Number of your vehicle and we can try to confirm fitment for you.

We do not accept returns of parts that have been installed, partly installed, or used in any way.  You must request return authorization within 14 calendar days of delivery.

A 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the refunded purchase price.

Restocking fees are not intended to be punitive; they are intended to cover costs associated with returns.

Also, with recent changes to policies from PayPal (early 2020) there is a fee charged on the initial transaction (averages 4.35% on the gross transaction cost) as well as on the return transaction; restocking fees help offset these business losses.

PayPal & other payment processing fees are NOT refundable on any transaction according to PayPal policy and they are not, in turn, refunded to RADD Cruisers by PayPal.


Shipping fees are non-refundable

The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to return the item(s) to RADD Cruisers.  

Please be sure to fully insure the item(s) in the amount of the purchase price prior to return shipping.

If an item is lost or damaged during return shipping, there will be no refund forthcoming.


Refused orders

Refused orders are considered to have been properly delivered.

If an order is refused at the time of delivery and returned to us, the customer will be responsible for all return shipping charges as well as a 20% restocking fee.

If an item is returned to us because it is undeliverable for some reason or is sent back to us, we will work with you to re-send the item to the correct location. If there are any additional shipping costs you will be responsible for those costs.
