A good quality composite head gasket that seals well and lasts a long time.
This is my personally preferred composite head gasket for early to mid vintage 3B engines and 13BT engines.
This gasket has been proven to handle moderate levels of boost in 3B-Ts and up to 20PSI in 13BTs when the surfaces and other details of a gasket replacement have been performed properly. I have not pushed this past 20PSI in my own BJ74, so I am unable to comment on higher levels of boost.
This gasket will easily tolerate head and block surfaces that are a little too rough for an MLS gasket to be an ideal candidate (MLS gaskets require a very flat and relatively smooth surface to seal properly).
