Oil Pan Gasket for Toyota B series engines - B, 2B, 3B, 13BT

Rubberized cork material

The current stock of rubberized cork gaskets need to be gently stretched into position due shrinkage between being cut at the factory and when they get installed. I will endeavour to bring in a new supply of gaskets that don't need to be stretched.

If your pan is straight and sealing edge is not mangled, these gaskets will seal well. All-too-often these older oil pans have damaged sealing surfaces that need to be made flat again.

Note that most newer models of Land Cruiser have done away with engine oil pan gaskets where the oil pan is flat (no curved parts located at the front or rear of the engine), and FIPG (form in place gasket) is used to seal the pan to the block.

A good product for this purpose is "The Right Stuff" made by Permatex, but other high quality sealants work well. The Toyota factory product is made by ThreeBond and is available in the aftermarket. Be sure to follow proper oil pan sealant application procedures (and no, I'm not going to write out all the steps here...).
