Transfer Case rebuild kit for Toyota Land Cruiser 38mm split case with Automatic Transmission

This kit contains all of the gaskets, seals, bearings, 38mm idler shaft to rebuild your Land Cruiser split case for Automatic Transmission models from 10/1985-on.

Important Note: Some Land Cruisers were factory equipped with automatic transmissions had needle roller bearings under the output gears whereas vehicles equipped with manual transmissions or most with automatic transmissions had the output gears running on bushings.

Note: These vehicles use transfer case output shaft 36231-60050 that does not have back-cut on the shift clutch teeth for the Hi/Low shift clutch. It is important to check which transfer case you have prior to ordering this kit - to ensure you are getting the correct parts. The bearings and bushings are not cross-compatible as the output gears are different.

Note 2: If you want to run lower transfer case gears, it is important to note that some types of gears will not operate properly when using the 36231-60050 output shaft, in which case the shaft must be updated to 36231-60021.

Note: the product photo does not show the additional roller bearings in this kit for the transfer case output gears on the output shaft.
