This kit is not for mechanical (non-electronic) VE (rotary) injection pumps.
Use this part number instead: VE Pump Seal Kit 096010-0141
After re-installing your electronic diesel injection pump it should be timed using the match marks stamped on the timing gear casing and the injection pump housing - line these marks up. The electronic pumps use a crankshaft position sensor and the computer (ECU) to then set the timing accurately after running for a short period of time.
